First and foremost, I want to say thank you to the whole community of Sabal Springs from the Emergency Preparedness Committee. Your generosity is truly amazing.
The North Fort Myers Fire Department came yesterday to pick up all of the toys you so generously gave from the bottom of your hearts … thank you so much! We went from approximately 400 gifts in 2023 to more than 750 this year wow! Bikes, dolls, stuffed animals, games, and so much more.
A thank you also to everyone who came out yesterday to help set up the toys and pack them up with the FD. And another thank you to all who donated cookies for us and the FD. We were able to send three enormous trays of cookies to the firehouse from Sabal Springs, just for them.
My heart swells when I witness all the love and generosity this community is capable of. The Emergency Preparedness Committee (EPC) cannot say thank you enough to all of you.
