The SSLGA tournament began with better-than-expected weather on the first day of the tournament, but Mother Nature had other plans for day two. As conditions changed, our President, Loretta Gehman, asked the group to vote on whether they wanted to play in the rain or not. The decision was unanimously yes. Despite the cold, steady rain, puddles underfoot, and relentless winds determined to slow the players down, many of the ladies powered through and finished their games with grit and determination.
Please give a huge hand to the ladies who persevered and kept the course moving, as well as to those who beat the odds and came out on top of their flights — you all truly earned it.
