Aug. 9 — Sabal Old McDonald’s Farm Scavenger Hunt. Time — 1 pm to 3:30 pm. Tickets are $5 per person. Chaos has hit the Sabal Springs farm. Animals are on the loose — where is the cow? Hop in your golf cart (or car) and head to the Farmers Market for your first stop. Grab a quick snack — two chicken sliders and a bag of chips and your scavenger hunt map. Follow the clues around Sabal as you hunt down runaway animals, fix the tractor, and solve the mystery of the missing farm tools. Along the way, some stops will feature tasty surprise treats to keep the fun going. Grab your Sabal friends, bring your sense of adventure, and come help save the farm. Sept. 20 — The Rat Pack — A Special Live Performance in Sabal Springs. Back by popular demand and bigger than ever. Last summer’s sold-out Sinatra show featuring Michael Dutra was a resident favorite, and this year he is returning with very talented friends (flying in just for us) to bring The Rat Pack to life right here in our community. Step back in time and experience the charm, wit, and legendary music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. The Rat Pack famously ruled Las Vegas in the 1960s — and now you can enjoy that same magic without leaving North Fort Myers. This electrifying show features some of the top tribute artists in the business, led by Michael Dutra, recognized as one of the world’s premier Sinatra tribute performers. Close your eyes and you’ll swear Ol’ Blue Eyes himself is on stage. The Rat Pack typically appears in large venues with ticket prices ranging from $50 to $100, making this a truly unique opportunity for our community. Tickets: $15 for Sabal Springs residents and $25 for non-residents. For this special event, residents may invite up to two guests at the non-resident rate. Cash Bar at Eagles Landing. Doors open at 5:45 pm, the show starts at 6:30 pm. Open-table seating or reserved-table seating for eight to 10 (reserved tables must be purchased at same time).
