On April 13, Laurie Simkins stood at the tee of hole No. 2 with her foursome — Judy Andrews, Sharon Croxton, and Lydia Ryan — watching as her soaring shot landed beautifully on the green. The ball rolled with purpose, struck the flagstick, and dropped right in… a hole-in-one!
